 Join our team as a volunteer Ambassador We need enthusiastic individuals like you to connect with your congregation and church staff, share important updates, and help us reach people we may not have contact with. You will receive monthly updates and information that we hope you will pass along. Your role will strengthen our community outreach and make a meaningful impact. We desire to have Ambassadors representing all of our local churches.  

Earn While You Learn and Earn While You Grow programs:  (volunteer must be a mother, a dedicated Christian involved in a local church, mother by birth or mother through adoption) 

As a Coach, you will serve as a mentor to first-time mothers, providing personalized support and guidance. You will walk them through a streamlined educational course tailored to their needs, offering encouragement and resources to empower them in their journey as new moms. Background checks are required. Training is simple yet required. Time required is 2-3 hrs. per month.

As a Coordinator, you will provide similar support to mothers with multiple children, mentoring them through the same tailored educational course. Your role will focus on addressing the unique challenges these moms face, offering guidance and resources to foster hope and confidence in their parenting journey. Background checks are required. Event Volunteers – Join our team as an Event Volunteer and play a vital role in bringing our community together! This unique role supports specific events such as fundraisers, campus tables, and community gatherings. As an Event Volunteer, you will assist in planning, help with event promotion, be part of the event day action, and contribute to the success of these initiatives, all while promoting Stillwater Life Services’ mission of hope, healing, and life-affirming choices.

Admin Assistance  - Become an Admin Assistant Volunteer and support Stillwater Life Services with essential office tasks! We maintain a list of dedicated volunteers to contact for both planned and unplanned office needs, offered 3-5 times per year. Your role will include assisting with bulk mailings, campaign calls, and other administrative duties, helping us advance our mission of promoting hope, healing, and life-affirming choices.

Small Group “Adopt A Mom’  - We are looking for small groups to “adopt” a new mom by providing meal gift cards for the week following the birth of her baby. To maintain client confidentiality, options include restaurant gift cards or freezer meals that an SLS staff member can deliver to clients. Your group’s support will offer practical help and encouragement to new mothers during a special time.

Post-Abortion Program - Female

This is an essential Stillwater Life Services program. It is a confidential, safe, support group to help women who have experienced abortion. We ask that volunteers and coordinators for this program be post-abortive and have completed some form of post-abortion counseling themselves. Training is provided and required. Opportunities also exist for post-abortive volunteers to help raise awareness and provide support to women in the church who have been affected by abortion.

Campus Campaign Volunteer -The Campus Campaign is an ever-evolving group of volunteers, made up of college students and adults who connect with college students, all of whom have a passion for helping SLS spread awareness on the OSU campus about our services. These volunteers work as a team to develop strategies for outreach on campus. This includes but is not limited to reaching out to different departments, organizations, fraternities and sororities, residence halls, and students. Campus Campaign volunteers also assist in ensuring all material, literature and education resources are made available to campus when allowed.

Cleaning Specialist - Our main office needs regular cleaning from an individual or group that enjoys behind-the-scenes work that truly makes a difference. Our current need is once a month.
